What is Mosque-Search?

Mosque-Search helps everyone find mosques, prayer times and events nearby — over 6,800 mosques across Europe, in six languages (English, German, French, Turkish, Bosnian, Arabic). Mosques can claim their listing for free and keep their own prayer times and events up to date.

I build and run it on my own, in my free time, as a non-profit project. It is free for everyone, has no ads and does not track you.

Why donations?

Today the platform runs on free hosting tiers, and I want to keep it that way for as long as possible. Donations help with the costs that do come up:

• the domain and e-mail
• developer accounts for the iPhone and Android apps (Apple: about USD 99 per year)
• test devices and occasional legal advice to keep the service compliant
• reserves for more server capacity as more mosques and visitors join

What donations do not do

Donations are voluntary and unlock nothing. Every mosque gets the same features and the same storage, whether anyone donates or not — that is a deliberate fairness rule. Donating does not give anyone influence over listings or moderation.

Thank you for supporting a free tool for the community. 🤲
